AFRICA GUZMAN DANCE PROJECT Professional Training Program, is aimed at providing the dancer with the necessary bridge between their academic training and the professional world. Seeking artistic excellence and within a rigorously professional environment, the dancer is provided with a complete advanced level training through classes, workshops and performances.
AGDP is the opportunity for students to discover the reality of the profession, working directly with choreographers, performing on stage and encompassing a wide repertoire with different styles and thus develop their artistic identity and scenic ease.
Africa Guzmán Dance Project addresses the needs of dancers from 16 years old by producing versatile dancers who have experienced a wide range of technical skills. During the year, the dancers will have guest teachers and workshops with choreographers who offer dancers an artistic opening and make them adaptable to diverse and new proposals.
AGDP’s diverse programming features a broad repertoire and styles, spanning classical, neoclassical, contemporary, and avant-garde new works. The purpose is to allow young dancers to work with choreographers and thus approach a diverse and representative repertoire of today’s professional dance community.
The professional training of Africa Guzmán Dance Project is a springboard for the professional integration of students and paving the way to their future career. Masterclasses, choreographic workshops, and acting opportunities through the Africa Guzman Dance Project are the backbone of this project.
